The headstones here recorded are placed on a cement cairn alongside the present Victory Tabernacle. An old presbyterian cemetery was also located in this same vicinity, and it is not known for sure if all of the stones that were saved are from the Thompson cemetery only, or if some may have come from the early Knox Presbyterian Cemetery. |

Lot 9 Concession 4 of the former Thorah Township. Exit Highway 401 at Brock Street, Whitby, and drive north about one hour to Concession Road 6 of Thorah Township. Drive west on the concession road until it becomes Main Street of Beaverton. Continue around a curved section, after which you will see the Victory Tabernacle on the south side of the road.
