Durham Region Folk Circle

Keep Folk Alive! .....at the Durham Region Folk Circle

We are a group of local area, acoustic musicians and singers, from beginners to experts, who get together once a month to sing and play folk and related style songs for our own enjoyment. We welcome visitors and new members of all levels to come and join us. We meet on the 4th Thursday evening of each month (except December) at 7:30 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion,  111 Hunt St., Ajax, Ontario.

We are available as a group or individually to perform at community functions in the Durham Region. Just ask!

Upcoming Meetings

We always meet on the FOURTH Thursday of each month, not the LAST Thursday.

The next two meetings will be Thursday, August 28 and September 25, 2008, at 7:30 p.m. Come a little early to set up and tune. See you there!

Come prepared! Practice!

Songs for August:

Till the Rivers All Run Dry (E)
Saddle Boy (G)
......Three more to come...

If we should ever arrive to find our room occupied because of a dual booking, we would just go straight down to the Legion bar and hold our meeting there.
